The EOSC CZ Initiative publishes outcomes as part of its individual projects. If you have a document, methodology, or other relevant outcome you would like to publish on our website, you can use our platform.
Within the EOSC CZ Initiative, you can request the creation of a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for outcomes resulting from EOSC CZ projects and their key activities. To obtain a DOI and publish the document, you must first complete the Document / Outcome Publication Form to receive a URL, which must then be attached to the DOI Assignment Request submitted via the EOSC CZ community.

Analysis and Proposal of Procedures for Implementing FAIR Principles within the NRP/NDI (CZ)
This analysis focuses on the implementation of the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) within the National Repository Platform (NRP) and the National Data Infrastructure (NDI). The aim is to provide repository administrators, researchers, data stewards, and other users with an overview of key requirements and recommendations that enable effective research data management in line with international standards and best practices.

FAIR Handbook for the Data Steward Community in the Czech Republic (CZ)
This document is intended for professionals in the role of data stewards who have a basic understanding and knowledge of the field. It provides an overview and description of the individual elements of the FAIR principles, which were first defined and published in 2016 and are now an integral part of the research data lifecycle.
The handbook is based on the draft version of the FAIR Data Handbook, further developing and enriching it with practical sections. Its aim is to introduce data stewards to the definition of the FAIR principles. To facilitate a better understanding of the topic, it also includes practical examples in each section. Beyond the core principles, the handbook offers extended chapters that the authors consider essential for a more comprehensive understanding of the subject. It also addresses more technical topics such as data anonymization, semantic interoperability, and machine-actionability. These areas are especially relevant in interdisciplinary collaboration or for data stewards working within institutions with a broad scientific focus.

National Repository Platform Services Roadmap
This document provides a brief overview of informational materials, services, and other outputs of the NRP project that are or will be available to the general public in 2025. The aim is to offer end users a clear and concise summary in an accessible language.

Outcomes and Interconnections of Open Science Projects (CZ)
This document summarizes and contextualizes the outcomes of projects funded under the Open Science P JAC calls, specifically two complementary individual systemic projects: IPs EOSC-CZ and IPs CARDS, as well as the project from the Open Science I call – the National Repository Platform for Research Data (hereinafter referred to as NRP). To the extent known by the authors, it also includes key relevant milestones of the major research infrastructure e-INFRA CZ. The document anticipates future updates to incorporate planned outcomes of the currently prepared project under the Open Science II call (hereinafter referred to as OS II).

Recommendations for Creating Repositories in the NRP Environment (ENG)
This document is primarily intended for representatives of user communities considering the establishment of a new repository instance in the National Repository Platform (NRP) environment. It will help to navigate the whole process of setting up and running a repository and not to forget any crucial aspect. The aim is to provide an overview of the various activities that are integral to the repository creation process, including those that are the responsibility of a representative of the commissioning user group rather than the NRP. The document will help to make an informed decision on whether a repository in an NRP environment will be the right solution. It can also serve as a signpost to more detailed material on individual activities and as an aid in scheduling work on a new repository if the user group decides to build a new repository in the NRP environment
Sample Deposit License (CZ; ENG)
The deposit license is designed as a general template for institutions participating in the NRP. Each repository may define its own specific archiving conditions. In our opinion, information such as under what circumstances the operator may delete data should rather be included in the accompanying documentation (e.g. terms of use).
