Co-organized by UNESCO, OpenAIRE, PathOS, EOSC Track, and OSMI, the event will gather global experts, policymakers, and practitioners to delve into tracking open science progress and its wide-ranging impacts on research, innovation, and society. The program will feature evidence-based insights from key initiatives, practical workshops, and discussions about future directions in line with the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science.

2025 Coordination meeting of EOSC-related projects funded under Horizon Europe

On 26-27 June 2025, the European Commission, through its Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD), Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT), and the European Research Executive Agency (REA), will organize the 2025 Coordination Meeting for EOSC-related projects supported by Horizon Europe.

Open Science Workshop at MUNI

This course is held in the Czech language.

The workshop organised by Masaryk University (MUNI) in cooperation with the EOSC CZ Training Centre will focus on introducing specific EOSC services and their use at the institutional and national levels. Participants will learn about the current range of tools and solutions that can support the management, sharing and reuse of scientific data using Open (FAIR) Data principles.

CC signals – an introduction

Creative Commons (CC) announced the public kickoff of the CC signals project. This is a proposed framework to help content stewards (including those who share scientific datasets) express how they want their works used in AI training. The project emphasizes reciprocity, recognition, and sustainability in machine reuse.
