ESFRI has started the process of updating its Research Infrastructure Roadmap, which is expected to be completed in 2026

On Tuesday, 8 October 2024, the ESFRI Roadmap 2026 Information Day took place in Brussels, launching a new process to update the Roadmap, scheduled for December 2026. ESFRI will analyze the European research environment over the next two years to support key infrastructures enabling cutting-edge research.

Debating the Future of Data Management at the ELIXIR CZ 2024 Annual Conference

Launch of EOSC EU Node initiated

On 10 October, the EOSC EU Node was technically launched by the European Commission in Brussels. The call for candidates for four EOSC Association Board of Director positions has been launched for the 2024 elections, which will take place during the 9th General Assembly. Members interested in potentially serving on the Board for either one or three years are encouraged to apply. Currently, there is a need for candidates with specific skills, including political insight, policy expertise, and relevant technological know-how.

Consultation on the EOSC Multi-Annual Roadmap

The EOSC Association Board of Directors has drafted an update of the Multi-Annual Roadmap (MAR) for 2026–2027, outlining priority activities for implementing EOSC at the European, national, and institutional levels. A three-week consultation to gather community feedback on the updated MAR opened on 3 September and will run through 22 September of this year.
