The event is tied up with the 19th edition of the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC25), and will be an opportunity for the European community to meet with the IDCC international audience to learn and debate around the latest achievements around.

The International Digital Curation Conference is an established annual event with a unique place in the digital curation community, reaching out to individuals, organisations and institutions across all disciplines and domains involved in curating data and providing an opportunity to get together with like-minded data practitioners to discuss policy and practice.

Digital Object Identifier DOI and its national support in the Czech Republic

This course is held in the Czech language.

The persistent identifier DOI (digital object identifier) is used in science communication to permanently and unambiguously identify various objects such as scientific articles or research data sets. The training will explain what this identifier can be used for, how its assignment works, and possible alternatives.

EOSC Winter School 2025

The Winter School 2024 will focus on the four strategic pillars of the EOSC Multi-Annual Roadmap (MAR) 2026-2027 and connecting key EOSC stakeholders. The event is primarily intended for representatives of INFRAEOSC projects, EOSC-A Task Forces and EOSC Opportunity Area Expert Groups. Re-registration is open until 9 December 2024.

Citizen science and the use of data collected by public participation in research

The course aims to introduce the possibilities of using citizen science in data acquisition. Participants will learn the basic principles of citizen science, including the typology of citizen science projects.

Data management for artificial intelligence and machine learning from the perspective of computing environment and user requirements

The workshop focuses on the presentation of techniques and procedures necessary for effective work with data in the context of artificial intelligence and machine learning and on the presentation of specific research examples in AI and ML and their requirements or current problems.
