How to get to...
- Via Brno airport
There are only two direct flights to Brno, from London Stansted (UK) and from Malaga (Spain). Due to this fact, we recommend traveling via Vienna airport or Prague airport, which are served by leading airlines and connected to most European cities.
- Via Vienna airport
Reaching Brno from Vienna is faster than from Prague, it takes approximately 2 hours. There are direct buses to Brno like RegioJet, Gepard Express, Flixbus or trains with 1 change in Vienna city centre.
- Via Prague airport
Journey from Prague airport takes approx. 3 – 3,5 hours. From the airport, take the Airport Express to the main train station (every 30 min) and then train to Brno (Ceske Drahy or Regiojet). You can also travel by bus (Regiojet, Flixbus or another companies) from Prague Florenc station (stop Brno Grand station, near train station).
We do not reccommend taking taxi from the Vienna or Prague airport to Brno as the prices are high (approx 170 EUR and more for one way transfer).
From the main train station:
- On foot 15 to 20 minutes through the city centre (Masarykova str. – nám. Svobody – Rašínova str. – Moravské nám. – Kounicova str.)
- Take tram no. 1 from the Hlavní nádraží tram stop in the direction of Řečkovice, exit at the second stop (i.e. Moravské nám.), then walk to Kounicova str.
From the bus station (Benešova str.):
- Take tram no. 1 from the Hlavní nádraží tram stop in the direction of Řečkovice, exit at the second stop (i.e. Moravské nám.), then walk to Kounicova str.
- Take tram no. 1 from the Malinovského náměstí stop in the direction of Řečkovice, exit at the first stop (i.e. Moravské nám.), then walk to Kounicova str.
