International Data Week 2025

International Data Week 2025 (IDW 2025) will take place on 13–16 October 2025 in Brisbane, Australia. This prestigious event, combining SciDataCon and the Research Data Alliance Plenary, will bring together researchers, data experts, policymakers, and industry leaders. The main theme, “Data for Positive Change,” will highlight the role of data in advancing research, empowering communities, and driving societal transformation.

Nordic Workshop on Bibliometrics and Research Policy 2025

Over the course of three days you will have the opportunity to engage with experts from a variety of fields, including bibliometrics, research policy and library & information science. The aim of the workshop is to integrate bibliometric research with research policy, showcase the latest bibliometric research from the Nordic region and beyond, and strengthen connections between bibliometric research groups and their PhD students.

On November 18–19, 2024, the ESFRI-EOSC Task Force hosted a workshop at the University of Milan titled "Prototyping the EOSC Federation: Nodes and Linkages," focusing on shaping the EOSC Federation as a digital ecosystem. The workshop attracted representatives of research infrastructures listed on the ESFRI Roadmap, exploring their potential role as thematic nodes in the federation.
