National EOSC CZ Conference 2025
2–3 December, Ostrava
Long Live Research Data is the next edition of the National EOSC CZ Conference, which will take place this year in Ostrava. The programme will feature plenary sessions and panel discussions focused on current challenges and opportunities in the management, sharing, and re-use of research data. Participants can look forward to keynote lectures from leading experts, interactive workshops, and hands-on training that connect theory with practice and enable the direct application of new insights to everyday work with data.
The conference will be held in English, opening it up to international participants.

Day 1 Programme:
Lectures and Panels
The first day of the conference will be divided into three thematic blocks. Each block will begin with a keynote lecture, followed by several short presentations and a panel discussion. Thematic blocks of Day 1:
1. Advancing Data Skills
2. Tools for Data Management
3. Stories of Data (Re-)Use
The programme will also feature a Poster Session with three competition categories. Both the expert jury and conference participants will select one overall winner, as well as a winner for each category, all of whom will receive material prizes. The deadline for submitting applications and abstracts is 15 October 2025.
Day 1 Programme:
Workshops and Trainings
The programme consists of workshops and practical training offered in two parallel thematic tracks. Workshops will be held in the language preferred by the participants.
Young Researchers
Trainings focused on working with both primary and secondary data, metadata formats, FAIR principles, and the use of tools and services of the National Data Infrastructure.

Repo Builders
Practical workshops for repository creators on building and integrating repositories within the NRP environment, working with persistent identifiers, metadata, and tools such as Dataspecer.
