Humanities and the Arts

This working group has been suggested as a consultation body for all Czech institutions engaged in research in the humanities and the arts in terms of:

1. Creation of digital objects in these fields, annotating them and adding metadata.
2. Legal aspects of licensing and “opening up” towards the FAIR principles, further digital processing and accessibility by means of language and other technologies, as well as their long-term preservation.

The addressed topics include proposals for technical solutions, training and education at all levels, organisation of research with regard to accessibility of digital scientific data, and suggestions to support international cooperation both within and outside European and global infrastructure networks. The working group also prepares technical and other assistance projects and secures their funding in specific cases of the humanities and the arts.
