Recruitment of evaluators for the objective evaluation of applications submitted under the upcoming Call for Cooperation No. 2: Open Science II Mini‑projects is carried out via an electronic registration form available here.

Eligibility criteria for evaluators
The basic requirements for evaluating mini-project applications are:
- Previous experience in Open Science, particularly experience in at least one of the following areas: research data management, data management strategies, design/development/modification of software for working with data, education in FAIR data/Open Science;
- Absence of conflict of interest, i.e. the evaluator:
- must not be a member of the research team of a mini-project submitted under the Call No. 2;
- must not be linked to any member of such a team in a way that would affect their independence;
- must not be aware of any circumstances that could compromise impartiality during the evaluation process.
Scope of work
Participation in the evaluation committee (and, where applicable, the appeal committee) includes in particular:
- objective evaluation of mini-project applications;
- assessment of applications against evaluation criteria and active participation in committee meetings;
- contribution to the preparation of final expert evaluation reports via evaluation protocols;
- cooperation in ensuring the quality and integrity of the selection process.
Evaluation process
The evaluation will take place in two phases:
- Review of applications – evaluators will receive access to submitted applications after appointment (expected February 2027).
- Evaluation committee meeting – applications will be discussed, scored, and ranked.
Committee meetings will take place between February and May 2027, primarily online, with the possibility of in-person or hybrid meetings.
Scope of applications
Applications are expected to be approximately 4 pages plus mandatory annexes (e.g. Cost Calculator, Timeline, Opinion of the EOSC CZ Working Group).
Compensation for evaluation
Evaluators will be compensated via a contract for work (DPP) or equivalent agreements (contract for services).
- CZK 550/hour
- preparation: max. 4 hours per meeting
- meeting participation: each commenced hour paid

Technical and other requirements
Selected applicants will be asked to complete a questionnaire and provide a structured CV.
Additional requirements
- completion of general Open Science II training (self-study);
- completion of online evaluator training.
