CZECH AS THE CONFERENCE LANGUAGE
The kick-off conference of the Open Science II project will take place in May 2026 in Prague and will focus on research data, repository creation, and the transfer of information and experience not only among project participants, but also within the wider EOSC CZ community and the broader professional public. The programme includes thematic lectures and panel discussions a VIP panel of experts with international reach, and hands-on workshops for repository creators. The main goal is to inform participants about the partial outputs of the Open Science II project and to offer opportunities to exchange experiences and obtain practical information for creating repositories within the project.

The first day of the conference will offer both strategic and practical perspectives on Open Science II in the context of the EOSC CZ initiative and the National Data Infrastructure. The programme will combine discussions on the direction of the Open Science II project with presentations of specific tools, approaches to handling sensitive data, and the use of AI in research data management.
