EOSC Federation Build-up Group Meeting

The EOSC Federation Build-up Group Meeting will bring together representatives of candidate EOSC Nodes and other key stakeholders involved in building the EOSC Federation. The two-day in-person meeting in Karlsruhe, Germany, will focus on reviewing the operational progress of the Nodes and the next steps towards the EOSC Federation’s transition to production.

Doctoral Summer School 2026

The National Library of Technology, in collaboration with its partners, is organising the 5th Doctoral Summer School. The programme is primarily intended for early-career researchers and features practical workshops delivered in small groups. It focuses on research funding, grant proposal writing, the use of visual communication, and decision-making techniques. Registration is now closed.

What’s new in EGI Notebooks: Enhancing research with updated features

As part of the EGI Federation webinar, Zdeněk Šustr (CESNET) will present updates to the EGI Notebook service, available within the EGI infrastructure. Built on JupyterHub, the service provides an environment for accessing data, running analyses, and sharing results. Researchers, data analysts, and other interested participants will learn more about new features, practical use cases, and how notebooks can support Open Science.

Summer School for Data Stewards 2026

16 – 18 Jun 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM

The second edition of the summer school is intended for both project and institutional data stewards. It offers a practically oriented programme focused on Jupyter Notebooks, the development of soft skills, and, last but not least, the use of the DSW tool for creating data management plans.

Re:vision of Science: From RDM to Evaluation Reform

The conference will focus on the transformation of contemporary science in the context of research data management and research assessment reform. It will provide a space for discussion on how open science, responsible assessment, and data practices influence the functioning of research institutions as well as the everyday work of researchers.

Open Science Workshop 2026 will provide a practical perspective on current topics in open science, research data management, and FAIR principles. Aimed at researchers, data stewards, and other interested participants, the event will showcase concrete tools, services, and examples of good practice that can be applied in the day-to-day management of research data.
