The seminar Legal Aspects of Research Data Management will provide fundamental insight into managing personal data and the related intellectual property legal regimes. The seminar will introduce a short contextual lecture that will place the legal aspects of research data management in the different contexts which participants may encounter within the academic environment (project, commercialisation, etc.). Following this, two expert lectures will be given ("data and personal data" and "data and intellectual property"). Finally, there will be a summary and final discussion followed by putting theory into practical questions and answers.
