From knowledge models to AI: Exploring Data Stewardship Wizard

This course is part of the Summer School for Data Stewards 2026.
Annotation: The course introduces the basic use of the Data Stewardship Wizard (DSW), with a particular focus on dmp.eosc.cz (the Data Stewardship Wizard instance for the National Repository Platform, NRP). Following an introductory session for beginners, participants will gain hands-on experience in adapting a knowledge model to the needs of their organisation or institution. The course will conclude with an introduction to the new AI functionality in DSW, which enables the generation of a final DMP document directly from a project without the need to prepare an output template.
Benefits for participants: Participants will become familiar with the Data Stewardship Wizard and its more advanced features.
Level: Open to all levels.
Language: Czech/English (depending on participants’ preferences; slides will be in English)
Prerequisites: Basic understanding of research data management concepts and access via e-INFRA login.

Hana Litavská
She works as a DMP specialist in the Data Stewardship Wizard team, where she focuses on the use of generative AI in the area of Data Management Plans (DMPs) and the development of related tool functionalities.
Kryštof Komanec
He works as a DMP specialist in the Data Stewardship Wizard team, where he is responsible for testing, release management, and coordinating tool development, and contributes to the development of DMP content.
Jana Martínková
As a DMP specialist in the Data Stewardship Wizard team, she specialises in knowledge models, ontologies, and methodological support for DMPs.
