Beyond data stewardship: Let's take this outside

Annotation: Being a data steward means that a significant part of your professional life unfolds in front of a screen – navigating systems, working through spreadsheets, or sitting in on meetings. This workshop is a deliberate departure from all of that.

The format is intentionally different from what most of us are used to. We're stepping outside – literally. Away from the laptops, screens, and meeting rooms. In a community circle format set in nature, we'll focus on something that shapes our work more than any tool or platform does: the way we communicate, listen, and understand ourselves in relation to others.

Through open conversation, reflection, and a healthy dose of honest self-examination – including games and playful exercises – we will explore what it really means to show up with empathy, clarity, and respect for ourselves and others. The community circle is designed to be a safe space, where experiences can be shared without fear of judgement, and where we can genuinely learn from each other.

Come as you are. Jump in as much or as little as you like.
