CESNET e-Infrastructure Conference 2026

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Conference CZ

The conference will mark the 30th anniversary of the founding of the CESNET association. It will showcase the latest developments in networking, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, data storage, authentication and authorisation, and multimedia technologies. The first day will feature a broad programme covering all topics, while the second day will be divided into three specialised tracks. Registration is open until 18 September.

The NTK Knowledge Transfer Academy 2026/2027

Training CZ

The NTK Knowledge Transfer Academy is a practical training programme for researchers interested in exploring how their research results can be applied beyond academia. The programme consists of eight training modules covering topics such as technology transfer, intellectual property, communicating the value of research, funding and the development of participants’ own projects.

Core Facility Day Life Sciences 2026: How can we support your research?

The event offers an opportunity to explore the technologies, services, and expertise provided by Masaryk University’s shared research infrastructures. The programme includes presentations of individual core facilities, guided laboratory tours, a poster session, and opportunities for networking and new collaborations. Important dates: poster abstract submission by 30 June, registration by 13 September.

EOSC Symposium 2026

The three-day programme, centred on the theme Connecting users, data, and services, will cover EOSC collaborations, best practices and user experience, as well as the operationalisation of the EOSC Federation.

This year’s Open Science Week, organised by the Open Science Working Group of ALCU, will focus on different approaches to Open Science. Attention will be given to systemic and institutional aspects, inspiration from abroad, as well as discipline-specific practices and experience.

PIDfest 2026

PIDfest is a three-day international summit featuring talks, activities, and workshops focused on the use of persistent identifiers (PIDs) for building world-class research infrastructure. The event aims to bring together users and leaders from around the world to address real challenges in research infrastructure and accelerate the development of research and innovation. PIDfest 2026 will take place in Leiden, the Netherlands.
