FAIR Wizard training for Data Stewards

The Open Science Department of KNAV is organizing two training sessions on the FAIR Wizard tool for creating DMPs for Data Stewards. The trainings will focus on more advanced features of the tool and how to prepare DMP documents for researchers from individual institutes.

Training in Brno will take place on Wednesday 5 March 2025, 10:00-12:00

Fundamentals of Research Data Management

The lecture provides insights into basic research data management (RDM) practices for participants, especially PhD students, project data managers/curators/stewards, or national or international grant researchers. It emphasizes FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles and motivation in the Open Science (OS) context.

Digital Object Identifier DOI and its national support in the Czech Republic

This course is held in the Czech language.

The persistent identifier DOI (digital object identifier) is used in science communication to permanently and unambiguously identify various objects such as scientific articles or research data sets. The training will explain what this identifier can be used for, how its assignment works, and possible alternatives.

EOSC Winter School 2025

The Winter School 2024 will focus on the four strategic pillars of the EOSC Multi-Annual Roadmap (MAR) 2026-2027 and connecting key EOSC stakeholders. The event is primarily intended for representatives of INFRAEOSC projects, EOSC-A Task Forces and EOSC Opportunity Area Expert Groups. Re-registration is open until 9 December 2024.

Citizen science and the use of data collected by public participation in research
