Representatives of EOSC CZ discussed at the ESOF 2024 conference in Katowice
In June, representatives of EOSC CZ – Veronika Ambrožová, Jaroslav Juráček, and Jiří Marek – participated in the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF 2024) in Katowice. This forum is one of the significant international events focused on the latest scientific advancements and their societal impacts. Each year, the forum provides a platform for scientists, entrepreneurs, politicians, and journalists to discuss current trends and innovations in the scientific space.
Jiří Marek, Head of the EOSC CZ Secretariat, actively participated in one of the conference debates, discussing the role of EOSC in research data management. The conference also covered key issues related to scientific excellence and methods of its evaluation. Other important topics included sustainable environments and digital transformation, highlighting the relevance of these issues in the current scientific discourse.
The ESOF 2024 conference confirmed its status as an established platform for sharing trends and building international relationships in the field of science, primarily thanks to its wide range of activities, including lectures, workshops, and panel discussions, which provided participants with valuable insights and collaboration opportunities.
