Presentation of findings from the national research data management survey

This course is held in the Czech language.

Annotation: How does the Czech research community work with research data? What tools and practices does it use, and what hinders effective data management and sharing?

The first national survey on research data management, conducted by the EOSC CZ initiative in collaboration with the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences and with support from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, provides the answers.

More than 1,000 principal investigators from across disciplines and institutions participated in the survey, offering a representative view of current research data practices in the Czech Republic.

The meeting will present the survey methodology and key findings – from how data are collected, managed, and shared to the identified needs and barriers, which provide important inputs for the development of the National Data Infrastructure.

The programme will also include time for questions and discussion.
