Initiative in data

Implementing the EOSC initiative in the Czech Republic is a complex process. It is not limited to one specific area but extends to a wide range of research areas, which also impacts the everyday life of society. The initiative involves many institutions that need to be involved in cooperation. These institutions should be supported and their progress in adopting the principles of open science, FAIR data and EOSC should be monitored.

In this section you will find information and data on the development of the initiative, as well as key documents and background documents accompanying the initiative.

Participants in educational events

The EOSC CZ Training Centre regularly organises training courses focused on key aspects of Open Science, including data management following FAIR principles, use of repositories, working with data and metadata. These trainings equip participants with the practical skills and knowledge to manage and share scientific data effectively.

The number of graduates from these trainings is an important metric that reflects our community's growing level of Open Science expertise.

In the interactive overview below, you will find participants' preferences by job position, by institution or which training courses are the most attractive. The trainings run from June 2023, however, due to inconsistent data until then, only those from January 2024 are shown. Those interested in the trainings can attend online by registering or view the recordings on our EOSC CZ YouTube channel.
